Instructions
Flickr is extremely easy to use. MHA has its own Flickr "Group" where any member can send pictures with a few simple clicks. If you have a Yahoo! account, you already have a Flickr login! If not, creating a new account is easy and free. Flickr also has an upload tool so you can drag and drop pictures from your computer and they will automatically be resized and uploaded. This allows seamless integration of MHA's website to Flickr galleries!
Please note: If you create a new Flickr account, you must upload a bunch of pictures and wait a few days before they will be viewable by the public. This is part of Flickr's moderation process that ensures the pictures people upload comply with their terms of service.
To get started:
1. Login to your Flickr account (or create one) at www.flickr.com.
2. Navigate to MHA's Flickr group here.
3. Add "MHA" to your Groups.
4. Upload pictures!
5. Once your pictures are uploaded, you can add them to picture sets and also easily "Send" them to the MHA group.
Be sure to make your pictures viewable by the public so others can see them!
As our members upload pictures and send them to the MHA Flickr Group, they will show up on the side of the MHA homepage.
